You book airtime in seconds, and the clock only runs while all three of these are true:

• At least 50% of the ad is on screen.
• The visitor has clicked, typed or scrolled in the last 1 minute.

A background tab, an ad scrolled out of view or a visitor who walked away costs you nothing. Sponsors rotate in turn, and each one stays up for the seconds it booked before the next takes over.
