Score jobs against your resume
Add your resume and up to five job posts. You get a match score for each one, with your strengths and gaps.
Free. Next, you sign in to the free AI in the app’s settings. No SealApply account, and it takes about a minute. Your resume and jobs wait in this browser until then, ready to go. Once you connect, they go to that AI provider to do the work.
How to score a job against your resume
- Add your resume. Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT above, or paste the text.
- Paste the job posts. Add up to five. Paste the full post, including the requirements.
- Sign in to the free AI. The app opens on its AI settings. It takes about a minute, and you don't need a SealApply account.
- Watch the scores come in. Your resume fills in your profile, then each job appears in the Jobs tab and is scored there.
How the score is worked out
The AI rates four things against the job post. Skills count for 45% of the overall score, experience for 25%, projects for 20% and education for 10%. The overall score is calculated from those four parts, so it can't disagree with the breakdown you see under it.
What the labels mean
- 85 and up: Strong Match
- 70 to 84: Good Match
- 50 to 69: Fair Match
- Below 50: Weak Match
What to do with your score
Use it to decide where your time goes. It is an AI estimate of fit, not a prediction of whether you will get an interview, and no employer ever sees it. For a job worth pursuing, read the gaps first: if you have that experience but left it off your resume, tailoring is the next step.
Frequently asked questions
Is the job match score free?
Yes. SealApply charges nothing and has no paid plan. The free AI provider has its own usage allowance, and you can add your own AI key in settings if you prefer.
Why do I need to sign in?
The free AI runs through Puter, which asks you to sign in. You don't create a SealApply account. Your resume and jobs wait in your browser until you have signed in.
How many jobs can I score at once?
You can queue up to five from this page. Once you are in the app, you can add more jobs from the Jobs tab.
Is this the same as an ATS score?
No. This score estimates how well you fit a job. The ATS resume checker looks at how your resume reads against the post.
Where does my resume go?
It stays in your browser while it waits. Once you connect the AI, its text goes to that AI provider so it can read your resume and score the jobs.
