AIApply Pricing: Is It Free, and What Does It Cost?
AIApply sells its toolkit, Auto Apply, tailoring and interview help as separate subscriptions. Here is what each one costs, what you get free, and how refunds work, from a competitor who links every source.
I build SealApply, a free job application tool that competes with AIApply, so weigh this post with that in mind. I’ve kept the numbers to what AIApply publishes and linked each source. This is about AIApply at aiapply.co, a product of AIApply Limited, and not the general idea of AI applying to jobs.
One thing makes this harder than it should be. When I checked, aiapply.co/pricing redirected to the homepage, and I found no public price table. The figures below come from AIApply’s help centre and terms, as checked on 2026-11-07. I didn’t go through checkout, and AIApply says the checkout total is what you pay.
How much does AIApply cost?
AIApply prices each product separately. Its pricing and billing FAQ says Auto Apply, Premium, Interview Buddy and the tailoring add-ons are “each priced independently.”
| Product | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Free subscription | $0 | Two mock interviews, job board, saved jobs, limited cover letters |
| Premium | $29/month or $144/year | Resume Builder, Cover Letter Generator, Application Kit, Mock Interview Tool |
| Auto Apply | From $49/month | Submits applications for you, priced by volume |
| Tailoring add-ons | $12/month each | Tailored resume and tailored cover letter on Auto Apply applications |
| Interview Buddy | $19/month or $99/year | Live interview assistant |
| Search Only | $12/month | Job matches and your dashboard, with no new credits |
The “about $12 a month” figure you may have seen is yearly Premium: $144 divided by 12, paid up front. It doesn’t include Auto Apply. If you see a weekly price, AIApply’s billing article says that is only an illustrative breakdown, because it offers no weekly or lifetime plans. Everything is charged in US dollars, and VAT is added into the checkout total where it applies. Students can get 40% off premium features with a student email.
Stacking the products adds up. Premium monthly, the 100-application Auto Apply plan and both tailoring add-ons come to $102 a month by my arithmetic, or $121 with monthly Interview Buddy.
Is AIApply free, and is there a free trial?
AIApply has a free subscription and no free trial. Its getting started FAQ says: “We don’t currently offer a free trial.” The free subscription gets you up to two mock interviews, the job board, saved jobs and “a limited number of cover letters.” The same page says the Resume Builder isn’t available on the free tier.
AIApply’s marketing pages describe this differently, which may be why people keep searching the question:
- A comparison page describes the free tier as “unlimited cover letters, resume scanner, full job board access,” while the help centre says the number of cover letters is limited.
- Its Auto Apply product file says “free to try” with no credit card, and its llms.txt mentions a free job search for eligible users. I couldn’t confirm what either includes. The help centre says Auto Apply can start applying once “your subscription is active.”
- The same comparison page lists “5 Auto Apply credits to start” on its Pro plan. I didn’t find that in the help centre articles I read.
AIApply’s site also has free, no-signup tools for single tasks, which are separate from the account tiers. Where the pages disagree, I’d trust the help centre, since it is the most specific and was edited this month. If a free feature decides whether you sign up, open a free account and see what it lets you do.
What Auto Apply costs per application
One credit is one submitted application, and AIApply says failed or unsupported applications don’t use a credit. The per-application figures below are my arithmetic from its prices, and they assume you use every credit.
| Applications | Price | Per application | With both add-ons |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | $49/month | $0.49 | $0.73 |
| 250 | $99/month | $0.40 | $0.49 |
| 600 | $199 | $0.33 | $0.37 |
| 750 | $199/quarter | $0.27 | $0.36 |
| 1,000 | $299 or $399 | $0.30 or $0.40 | $0.32 or $0.42 |
| 2,000 | $499 | $0.25 | $0.26 |
The add-on column assumes one month of add-ons at $24 ($72 for the quarterly plan). AIApply doesn’t say whether the $12 price changes at higher volumes, so treat the lower rows as estimates.
The 1,000 row has two prices because AIApply’s own articles disagree. Its November billing article lists $299, and its September credits article lists $399. The November article also names only the 100, 250 and 750 plans as standard and shows the larger volumes under upgrades. The checkout page will settle it.
Tailoring is the line to read twice. AIApply’s Auto Apply page says the AI creates a tailored resume and cover letter for each role, while the tailoring article says tailored resumes need the additional subscription and that the resume and cover letter subscriptions are bought separately.
Speed matters too. You set a daily limit from 10 to 100 applications, and AIApply’s results FAQ says 100- and 250-application plans on Auto Mode with flexible criteria may finish their queue in the first week. After that you wait for renewal or upgrade, because you can’t rebuy the plan you already have.
Do AIApply credits expire?
Credits last while your subscription is active and go away after you cancel. AIApply’s Auto Apply page says “they never expire,” but its credits article adds the condition: when a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its billing period, “the associated credits expire with it,” and renewing later doesn’t restore them. The Search Only plan doesn’t let you spend leftovers on auto-apply either.
The page also says “buy credits as needed,” which can sound like one-off packs. The billing articles describe subscriptions that renew automatically, with extra credits bought through an upgrade that resets your billing date.
AIApply refunds and cancelling
AIApply’s Terms of Service (version 2.3, last updated 26 October 2026) say fees are non-refundable except where the law requires or specific terms say otherwise. They also say: “Auto-Apply is a non-refundable product,” with no refunds “after applications have been submitted.” Its refund article sets out the rest:
- May be refunded: a reproducible technical issue that materially stops you using the service, with evidence, or an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes of the charge with no meaningful use.
- Generally not refunded: renewal charges, buying the wrong plan, and not getting interviews or offers.
Two other AIApply pages sound more generous. The homepage FAQ says refunds are handled “on a case-by-case basis,” and a comparison page mentions a “hire-or-money-back guarantee” on Pro. I couldn’t find that guarantee in the terms, which say AIApply doesn’t guarantee interviews or offers, and the refund article answers “No” to a refund for receiving no job offers. If a guarantee would decide your purchase, get the conditions from support in writing first.
To cancel, go to Account Settings, then Billing, at least 24 hours before renewal. Premium and Auto Apply each have their own Cancel button. You also have to continue past a screen offering a pause of 1 to 3 months, or the subscription stays active.
On Trustpilot, AIApply showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 2,177 reviews when I checked, with 66% five-star and 11% one-star. The page notes that AIApply invites customers to review. Billing comes up among the one-star reviews: one is titled “Won’t refund an unused subscription,” and another says “I ended up paying for a second month because I didn’t cancel my subscription in time.” Those are individual accounts I can’t verify, and they don’t show how common the problem is.
Who AIApply suits
AIApply is the better fit if your time is the tightest constraint and you want applications sent in volume to similar roles. It also covers things SealApply doesn’t: finding the jobs, submitting them, mock interviews and live interview help. Yearly Premium at $144 is also a reasonable price if you’d use the mock interviews a lot.
It suits you less if you want to read every application before it goes out. Auto Apply’s tailored documents can’t be edited. Its Hybrid and Review modes slow things down with manual approvals, which helps, though Auto Mode is where the volume comes from. I wrote more about that trade-off in autofill vs auto-apply and is it safe to use auto-apply bots?
Free alternatives to AIApply
No free tool I checked matches AIApply’s whole bundle, so pick by the part you need. Plans below were checked on 2026-11-07.
| Tool | What is free | Who presses Submit |
|---|---|---|
| SealApply | Tailoring, cover letters, ATS check, autofill, tracker; no paid tier | You, always |
| Jobply | Autofill, resumes, cover letters, AI answers; no paid tiers | You, or auto-submit if you turn it on |
| Resumly | 10 auto-apply jobs, up to 6 a day, 250 AI credits | The tool, for those jobs |
| Simplify | Browser extension that autofills career sites | You |
So if you searched for a free AI that applies to jobs for you, Jobply and Resumly’s small free plan are the closest of these. There are fuller comparisons on the AIApply alternative page, the Jobply page and the Resumly page, and a wider list in the best free AI job application tools. That roundup was checked on 30 October and also covers Simplify’s paid plan.
AIApply vs Jobwinner: people often search these together, but Jobwinner is a different kind of tool. Its homepage says “No blind auto-apply” and says you can “start using JobWinner for free,” without listing the free tier’s limits. It shows plans of 9 a week, 29 a month and 145 for lifetime access, with no currency symbol in the page text I read. Refunds are available within seven calendar days if you haven’t used the platform. I haven’t compared the two free tiers side by side.

Before you commit to any free plan, run the short check in how to tell if a job application tool is really free. If you want the writing without a subscription, there’s also a list of free cover letter generators.

Frequently asked questions
Is AIApply free?
AIApply is free only in a limited form. Its free subscription includes up to two mock interviews, the job board, saved jobs and a limited number of cover letters. The Resume Builder and Auto Apply need paid subscriptions.
Does AIApply have a free trial?
No, AIApply's help centre says it doesn't currently offer a free trial. It offers a free subscription with limited access instead. Some of its marketing pages say Auto Apply is free to try, so check what your account allows before you rely on that.
How much does AIApply cost per month?
AIApply Premium costs $29 a month, or $144 a year, which works out to $12 a month. Auto Apply is separate and starts at $49 a month for 100 applications, as checked on 2026-11-07. The price shown at checkout, including any VAT, is what you pay.
How much does AIApply cost per application?
AIApply's Auto Apply costs about $0.25 to $0.49 per application if you use all your credits, depending on the plan. With both tailoring add-ons, the 100-application plan rises to about $0.73 per application.
Can I get a refund from AIApply?
Refunds from AIApply are limited. Its terms say fees are non-refundable, with exceptions such as a verified technical issue or an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes with no meaningful use. Auto Apply isn't refundable once applications have been submitted.
Is there a free AI that applies to jobs for you?
Yes, in limited or optional forms. Jobply is free and has an optional auto-submit setting, and Resumly's free plan includes 10 auto-apply jobs. SealApply is free and fills the form, but you review it and press Submit yourself.
